So, imho, it cannot be incorporated into a framework on what we, ourselves, "are". Because being lucky, well, it's not really a habit (to seem lucky, however, is :P). So the best way is to force external changes - like changing the country (or at least doing new things with new people). And, I would add another important factor to success: Luck or chance.
